playing my part in this generation

I could say that this School Year is a great year for me. I have accomplished things that I have never done before, new doors were opened for me and I have met so many wonderful people. Last November SGI Board of Trustees offered their very first FREE Seminar Workshop to all teachers and administrators. The event went well and we at SGI received numerous positive feedback from the attendees. It's a remarkable thing to see educators coming together with one goal so as to be more relevant to the 21st century learners.

One thing for sure, this is just the beginning of everything and more is yet to come!

Wisdom Crieth Out

1The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
2To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
3To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
4To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
5A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
Proverbs 1 (KJV)

Attending conferences, seminars, trainings and the likes is simply therapeutic for me. A time to listen and take in new learnings, a time to meet new gifted people, and a time to be an empty vessel to be filled again.

The Athletic Baby Tams!

Confidence

You don’t always have to be in the lead…
If you have the heart to come from behind.
Don’t give up hope, don’t doubt yourself,
And a new strength is what you’ll find.
The spirit of competition, the desire to succeed
will always be important for life.
So give your all, everything you’ve got,
No matter the occasion, through pain and strife.
So step up to the plate, enter the race,
Never be afraid to take your turn.
Because winners are people who just never quit,
And this is a life lesson we all will learn.

NKP, with Teacher Bel... lets get ready to ramble!

Anything Is Possible

Anything is possible, if you think it is worthwhile
If you’re willing to go the distance, to go the extra mile.
With determination and effort, you can often achieve more
Because you don’t always get what you wish, but what you work for.
Dreams can become challenging, but no matter what the cost
Strive to complete the task before you, and you’ll never end up lost.
So bring with you your goals, and leave your doubts behind
Whether you think you can or can’t, you certainly will find
You’ll be right either way–so never quit, and this is why:
You’ll never become a failure, until you fail to try.
